Hey I'm Rex

Life hasn't always been easy for me, but I've never let that stop me from being a fun-loving, cheeky boy with plenty of affection to share.

I came into the pound when my owner could no longer keep me, as she already had three other dogs. Through circumstances completely beyond my control, I found myself placed on the PTS list, facing an uncertain future. Thankfully, the team at Pawkala Animal Welfare stepped in and gave me the second chance I desperately needed.

I've now spent close to five months living in kennels. While I'm grateful to be safe, what I really dream of is a home to call my own and a family to share my life with.

I would likely do best as the only dog in the household, where I can soak up all the love and attention for myself. In return, I'll keep you smiling with my playful personality and goofy antics. I haven't yet been fully assessed around other dogs, so any introductions should be done slowly and carefully if needed.

My story doesn't define me. I'm a loyal companion, full of character, love, and enthusiasm for life. All I need now is someone willing to give me the opportunity to show just how special I am.
